Cocchi Historic Vermouth of Turin

The Vermouth of Turin is a collective heritage of the Piedmontese, which is why on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of its foundation the Historic Vermouth of Turin returns, produced according to the original recipe by Giulio Cocchi. This vermouth falls into the category of sweet vermouth, or Italian vermouth, present in manuals from the late 19th century, and was the protagonist of the international rebirth of high-end vermouths. In addition to the flavoring herbs and spices, the protagonists are Piedmontese artemisia and citrus fruits, which contribute to giving it that precise and balanced taste which has allowed it to become, in a short time, one of the high-end Vermouths most chosen by the best bars in the world.

Intense amber yellow color, with vivid bronze reflections, the nose releases notes of crème caramel, cotton candy and toffee, together with the characteristic sensations of cinchona, rhubarb and citrus peel. The taste is rich, with vibrant notes of bitter orange and cocoa, together with balsamic and rosemary references, in a long finish of nutmeg.

Delicious pure, with ice and lemon zest, but indispensable as a base for the creation of the most classic cocktails, from Negroni to Manhattan.
