Amaro NONINO Quintessentia

This Amaro is the first liqueur from the Nonino distillery, born from the alchemical art of Nonino in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region that is influenced by the cultural influences of the different peoples who have crossed this borderland. Thanks to a profound knowledge of the herbs of the Friulian mountains as well as foreign botanicals, herbs, spices, fruit, berries and roots, it was possible to obtain the Amaro del Friuli in its purest alchemical essence, so much so as to deserve the name of Quintessentia .

Initially made with grappa as the alcoholic base, today it is produced from Ùe di Nonino grape brandy which ages for at least 12 months in Limousin, Nevers and small ex-Sherry barrels.

It appears an intense amber color. The nose is centered on pleasant sensations of mountain herbs. In the mouth it is harmonious, with a nice sweet-bitter mix.

Excellent neat at the end of a meal, it can be enjoyed with ice and a slice of orange or created in excellent cocktails.
