Rum Dos Maderas 5+5 years with 2 glasses

Dos Maderas is a line of Caribbean rums, refined, bottled and distributed by Williams & Humbert. In particular, Ron Dos Maderas 5 + 5 PX is obtained from a blend of Caribbean rums aged for 5 years. It is then taken to Spain where it continues aging at Bodegas Williams & Humbert. The first 3 years mature in barrels which for 20 years have contained the Sherry Palo Cortado Dos Cortados. Finally, for the last two years the rum matures in barrels that have contained Pedro Ximénez Don Guido Sherry for 20 years. This refinement in three different steps makes this rum a unique spirit, whose quality was recognized with the Bronze Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) in 2017.

Dark amber. Hints of vanilla and fruit predominate over everything. In the mouth it is warm and full, with flavors reminiscent of raisins and dried figs. It is velvety, with a long and pleasant finish.
